Bespoke ZAC Belgravia Canopy in Putney

One of our most popular canopies is the Belgravia. This canopy comes as standard in three different variations: The Heritage, The Classic and The Deco. We can also manufacture bespoke Belgravia canopies. This type of canopy is also ideal for our range of verandas and porches – a truly versatile canopy. We recently installed a lovely bespoke Belgravia canopy on to an existing brick porch in Putney.

A customer approached us who wanted to know if we could manufacture a canopy for their existing porch. I said I would knock up a sketch for them to give them an idea.

Unfortunately, they weren’t too keen on my first design of a single hipped canopy. They said they would prefer a double hipped canopy, so I went back to the drawing board. As the property was in Putney in London, I decided to make a site visit.

I made a mock-up for the client, which they really liked, so once the deposit was paid, we set to work. The customer opted for natural zinc. This is the original zinc and has a very shiny surface when leaving the rolling mill.

When installed on the exterior of a building, natural zinc will weather and form a beautifully textured grey patina. I am happy to say, another very happy customer.
